Birmingham Restaurant Week is back, and as always, the 10-day culinary celebration offers plenty of ways to indulge at more than 70 local restaurants. This year, we decided to take a different (and slightly lighter) approach to dining out by visiting BRW restaurants with healthier options. But healthy isn’t limited to just salads and tiny portions.
In fact, you can even have dessert–when it consists of farm peaches. Our interpretation of “healthy” focuses on fresh fruits and vegetables (farmed locally as part of REV’s Urban Food Project) that are incorporated into produce-centric dishes.
